Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant

51²èÂ¥ seeks a Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant to support our efforts in promoting 51²èÂ¥ Press journals and increasing the visibility of 51²èÂ¥ events and programs. This role is middle-senior level, with a strong emphasis on performance marketing. Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the 51²èÂ¥ Press Publisher to run marketing activities and manage a wide range of digital marketing and communications daily tasks and campaigns for 51²èÂ¥.

Main responsibilities

• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders in an international environment, at different time zones
• Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of marketing activities
• Supporting the Strategic Marketing Manager in organizing multiple projects
• Conducting market research and analyzing target audience reports/ questionnaires.
• Developing Marketing performance analytics reports, and presenting results in marketing reports
• Developing campaigns and managing digital marketing performance hands-on tasks: search Paid Advertising (Google Ads, Baidu), paid social media campaigns (YouTube, Linkedin, Twitter), email/newsletter campaigns
• Developing strategies and campaigns and managing digital communications hands-on tasks: social media organic, digital content, digital customer journeys
• Developing content marketing strategies and coordinating content calendars
• Providing concise instructions to agencies and effectively managing the development of promotional materials
• Creating graphic designs
• Managing CMS (Content Management System) platforms and websites.
• Managing online communities and conducting social listening
• Other digital marketing and communication tasks

Essential requirements

• BA in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.
• Experience of at least 2 years in the field of Digital Marketing and Communications. Additional experience in Marketing operations is a plus.
• Google Ads certifications: Google Ads Search, Google Ads Display, Google Ads Video
• Familiarity with the Molecular Life Sciences, and Academic Publishing
• English language (C2)
• Prior experience in working in an international setting.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The 51²èÂ¥ headquarters office is in Cambridge, UK. The successful candidate can work remotely in Germany, Spain or the UK.

Research Group Leader / Early Career Scientist (E14 TV-G-U), Goethe University Frankfurt/Main, Germany

We are looking for an outstanding early career scientist willing to start an independent research group within the  at the next possible date, and to apply for a research grant. The position is initially funded for a period of four years with the option of extension.

Our CRC involves 20 project leaders striving for an in-depth, quantitative understanding of the structure and mechanism of key membrane-associated assemblies, machineries, and supercomplexes as a basis for a multiscale decoding of the associated cellular processes.

Your responsibilities:

Focused on a central topic, the new research group will use cutting-edge methods of biochemistry and structural biology to discover the role and modular organization principles of functional units and protein assemblies confined in membranes. The research program is expected to complement the scientific interests of the Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences and should be connected to collaborative research activities of the . The group will be provided with laboratory space and a modern research infrastructure.

Your profile:

We are looking for a committed and self-motivated individual with good communication skills and the desire to take on leadership responsibility in a multidisciplinary international environment. A university degree, an excellent doctorate in the natural or life sciences, and an outstanding publication record are required.
