The Essential Molecular Biology course covers the fundamental principles and techniques used in experimental research in the area of Molecular Biology.聽Essentially practical in nature, it aims at the learning of current genomics and proteomics techniques, as well as the acquisition of skills in laboratory experimentation required for scientific research in Biomedicine.聽An exciting way to learn the essential genomics and proteomics techniques used in experimental research in biomedicine: hands-on, practical, intensive.

罢丑别听, formerly known as the Norwegian Biochemistry Society, is arranging its聽聽at Storefjell Resort in the mountains above Gol, Norway, 18鈥�21 January. The meeting has a聽 on the topics of exosomes, microbiota, phase separation, cancer biology and microscopy in combination with artificial intelligence. All attendees will have the opportunity to present their own research in either a mini-symposium talk, or as a poster.

This year’s Annual Meeting holds the theme聽“Exploring the Wonders of Life”, reflecting our collective dedication to unraveling the mysteries of the natural world. The event will start with the Young Scientists鈥� Satellite, with a keynote lecture by 聽from Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences (DE) on her research on human fertilization. The main meeting features three keynote lectures delivered by聽聽from the University of California, Berkeley (US),聽聽from the National Institute of Mental Health (US), and聽 from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (DE). These keynote lectures cover the research topics of the origin of animals, the role of light in mood and cognition, and the evolution of morphogenesis.

The program also includes scientific symposia organized by the various LS² sections and partners, with 9 invited speakers and over 40 speakers who will be selected based on their abstract submissions. We will also have laureate talks by the recipients of the Prix Schl盲fli, Friedrich Miescher Award, and the Lelio Orci Award. The Mosbacher Kolloquium is the traditional spring meeting of the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM). At the we will highlight recent techniques to characterize and manipulate complex microbiomes. The complex interactions between the microbiome, pathogens, and the immune system can impact health and disease states. Yet we lack a precise understanding of the individual or synergistic contributions of gut bacteria to human health, and we lack the ability to modulate the functions of the majority of human-associated microbes.聽These deficiencies also apply to other microbial communities in/on plants, animals, and entire ecosystems.

The Mosbacher Kolloquium 2024 seeks to address these problems by bringing together leaders in the next iteration of microbiome sciences. An interdisciplinary panel of leading scientists from around the world will provide an overview of the state-of-the-art research, allowing us to chart future developments at the interface of basic science and clinical development.
